At 22 years old, Wamiltons Customs Inc founder Wamilton Teixeira left his native Brazil for Chicago, where he mastered the art of fiberglass and paint repair at trade school and work at an auto-body shop. Soon, he set out on his own in Florida, where he plied his trade touching up everything from classic cars to department-store mannequins. After learning how to repair the sleek shells and paint jobs of water skis, Wamilton left land-based vehicles and mannequin plastic surgery behind for good, turning his attention to WaveRunners, boats, and racing watercraft full time. Today, his shop's selection of marine parts, apparel, and freestyle-racing kits help recreational boaters and racers alike take to the water in sleek, smooth-running vehicles of all types, with equipment and parts from Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki, and Polaris. Thrill-seekers can hit up Wamilton's extensive menu of private jet-ski lessons, jet-pack hoverboard rentals, and tubing experiences on the facility's private lake.
