Hoards of racers are scheduled to depart on the scenic and challenging excursion at many times throughout the day of the race; with this Groupon, you can register for the 2:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. waves. Space is limited, so you must register by Monday, May 2 before 3 p.m. CST. Register early to ensure your preferred wave doesn't sell out. While the early-registration fee (Sunday, April 17 or earlier) is $55, this Groupon also covers the value of a possible late-registration fee of $65. Groupon customers have an earlier deadline than the final deadline (May 2) because Warrior Dash needs time to manually enter the information.
Covering 3.02 miles and a total of 11 different obstacles, Warrior Dash challenges would-be Achilles to scramble beneath staggering logs, trek through mounds of sand, hustle over giant straw bales, and leap over fire. Though Warrior Dash provides challenges to even the fittest of fit athletes, mental toughness is the greatest tool for success, and people of all physical abilities can have fun and do well as long as they bring a good attitude and their best guts. All participants should arrive at least one hour before their departure time with a photo ID, a change of clothes (whatever you wear during the race will get dirty), and a signed copy of the participant waiver.
In addition to the race itself, participants receive a Warrior Dash T-shirt, a fuzzy warrior helmet, a medal to don every day after the race, free water, a postrace snack, a beer for those over 21, and authentic Viking back rubs.
