Today’s second option equips more serious students with seven hours of comprehensive oceangoing instruction without the kraken-wrestling required by a full sailing-certification course. During the full-day jaunt, your seadog sensei leads you through the basics of operating the 23-foot keelboat. Acquire the aquatic knowledge of preparing to set sail, tying knots, freeing yourself from knots, points of sail, and wind awareness as you navigate the earth’s most capacious birdbath.
