$25 for a Plymouth Whale-Watching Tour (Up to $42 Value)

The Plymouth whale-watching tour begins after guests board a 100-foot boat and comfortably settle amid two open decks and a climate-controlled main cabin, which serves snacks and beverages. An experienced naturalist then narrates the tour as guests admire humpback whales grazing in their natural habitat. These tours run daily, but guests must call ahead for specific tour times.

Plymouth Whale Watch

You're rarely guaranteed to see a whale, unless you go to the aquarium or you're watching Free Willy very carefully. For passengers with Plymouth Whale Watch, however, sightings are guaranteed—if you don't see a whale on your trip you can come back again until you do see one. The expert crew helps passengers spot species from humpback whales to pilot whales during trips that traverse North Atlantic waters en route to Stellwagen Bank. On the boat's lower deck and roomy sun decks, passengers might also spot porpoises, seals, and dolphins. Between sightings, patrons can listen to the crew's historical tidbits about Plymouth, and head to a galley that's stocked with food and drinks.

Customer Reviews

It was awesome!!! I recomend this company! they are really nice and the boat was not crowded as the others so everybody could enjoy the trip and to see the whales!

The day was beautiful. The Captain was great and the marine biologist, Tiffany, was outstanding. Although at first we only viewed minke whales, but fortunately for us the second largest mammal on earth- the fin back whale- swam up beside the boat and hung around for a while so we could take several photographs... Hats off to these folks-especially Tiffany and her wealth of marine life knowledge.
