Through her books and DVDs, Diana Waugh has helped families design strategies for communicating with loved ones afflicted with memory loss. Along with fellow certified dementia practitioner Lynn Dennie, Diana now brings her distinctive approach directly to families with in-person sessions through Waugh Consulting, LLC. During private seminars designed just for family and friends, Diana and Lynn review ways to communicate about difficult topics such as hygiene or discussing a deceased friend. The duo can also help evaluate whether loved ones are well enough to care for themselves, and, if not, assist in finding suitable care facilities. Along with private sessions, Lynn and Diana host a number of public seminars and events that address similar issues.
