Waverly Oaks Golf Club
It's no coincidence that Brian Silva won Golf World's Golf Course Architect of the Year award in 1999, the year after his two tracks at Waverly Oaks Golf Club opened. Acclaimed by outlets including Golf Digest and the New England Journal of Golf, Waverly Oaks' signature course meanders through tree lines and sand traps for 7,114 challenging yards. Each hole boasts its own playful moniker. The ninth hole, for instance, is dubbed "Double Trouble," a reference to the two ponds golfers must clear—one between the fairway and the tee, the other on the left side of the fairway as it approaches the front of the green.
