Are there any age restrictions? Is this something my 8-year old daughter can do? Are prices different for kids?

From Wayward Captain Paddleboards: There is no official minimum age requirement. The Harbor Patrol requires anyone under 12 years old to wear a life preserver. That being said, the boards are between 10' and 12' long and can be difficult for a child to maneuver by themselves. Each child is evaluated by our staff to determine their ability to paddle by themselves. All children under 18 are required to have a parent/guardian sign a release of liability waiver prior to departure. For very young children or children who are not capable of paddling on their own, we do allow them to ride on the front of the board with someone else.
