Q:

I only have two discolored nails - the toe next to my big toe on each foot so I think the $169 is a little much for only two toes when it is offered for ten toes.

Nancy J.  asked on  Jan 24, 2013

A:

The cost covers the treatment of all 10 toes for up to 3 treatments. The reason for the cost is we laser all the toes on the same foot that has the fungus so it does not spread to the other toes. You could pay less somewhere else but your success rate might not be as high. Hope this helps

Q:

Is there an initial visit charge in addition to the laser treatment charge or does that cover everything (except any products purchased, of course)?

Barry H.  asked on  Jan 22, 2013

A:

The price in the Groupon covers all the costs of the laser of up to 3 visits (except for the products, as you specified.) There is no initial visit cahrge.

Q:

I have had a laser treatment before almost two years ago. It helped but did not eliminate the fungus. I believe I need multiple treatments. If I buy the 10 toe laser treatment will I get a guaranteed 3 treatments that is my decision to make or would the spa decide if only one or two treatments is enough? Dan B.

Daniel B.  asked on  Jan 22, 2013

A:

Yes you get a guarantee 3 treatments if needed. If after two treatments it still appears you have nail fungus we would do a third treatment included in the Groupon.

Ben S.  asked on  Jan 19, 2013

Q:

I have nail fungus big time on only one big toe. I have cut the nail down and not having any real regrowth. can I still have it lasered?

toni a.  asked on  Jan 21, 2013

A:

You can have it lasered, also note that the Groupon is good for 120 days to make your first appointment. You might want to wait a month or two before you schedule your appointment to allow the nail to grow a bit. Hope this helps.

Q:

Does the procedure actually remove the nail that's being treated? When you talk about the time it takes a new nail to grow in I'm assuming you still have a nail on that toe. Is that right? And, do you have to remove all toe nail polish and can you wear polish after the procedure?

rona s.  asked on  Jan 19, 2013

A:

No the procedure does not remove the nail. That's why you get up to 3 treatments with the Groupon, it allows time for the nail to grow out. We cannot laser a nail with polish on it and we recommend you use a polish like Dr. Remedy, it doesn't have the nasty chemicals in it.

Q:

Would this deal be good for any of your locations or just the Owings Mills location?

David L.  asked on  Jan 18, 2013

A:

The laser is located in our Owings Mills location only. Hope this helps.

Q:

Just want to make sure I understand the Deal. If I select the one foot deal, the cost would be $169.00 and the first treatment would have to be initiated within 120 days. The remaining two treatments would be three and six months after the first treatment. After the third treatment, if I needed additional treatments they would occur every three months for up to a year, and they would be at the regular cost of $397.50 for the three additional treatments. Is this correct, and if not, please explain. Thank you. Darlene C

Darlene C.  asked on  Jan 17, 2013

A:

Yes Darlene you have said that exactly right. That is how the deal works.

Q:

How long are the treatments?

Stacie H.  asked on  Jan 17, 2013

A:

We are scheduling a 1/2 appointment though that is a generous amount of time. The actual laser treatment itself takes a few minutes.

Q:

I want to buy this Groupon, because my big toe nails are a little yellow. Not sure if that is considered a fungus or not. So if I make an appt, you will determine if it is a fungus or not, or get me back to my nails being normal white again, correct? Should I buy the one for $169 or do you think I need the one for $269? I am 58 years old. Thank you.

Earleen U.  asked on  Jan 17, 2013

A:

We would recommend that you buy the 10 toe because the fungus can spread to the other toes and yellow is a sign of fungus. The treatment consists of 3 treatments spaced out over 9 months because it takes that long for a new nail to completely grow. Your nail should grow back normal but we do not guarantee this. The laser has minimal side effects and is much safer than the medication.

I also wanted to let people know that you do not always need to come in for 3 treatments. You would come for your first treatment then at your second one we would determine if a third one was necessary, based on individual results. Also we recommend that in order to be more successful you can order a SteriShoe, which is a device that kills fungus inside your shoes, decreasing the risks of reoccurance. The device is placed into your shoe for 45 minutes to be fully effective in killing the fungus in your shoes. Hope this helps!
