About A Chat with We Wash Wheelchairs and Strollers

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
This unique service was created out of necessity. People depend on wheelchairs & strollers daily. Dirt, germs and spilled food build up on these surfaces and come in contact with the skin. The build-up is too much to be removed by a simple light cleaning. There is no other service like this.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
My father was wheelchair bound in the last years of his life. On Father's Day two years ago, I wanted his wheelchair cleaned. Much to my surprise there was no service that would do it. When I was laid off from my job I decided to create this unique service. This unique service makes people happy.

What do you love most about your job?
I get the most joy out of helping others. I have the opportunity to make the elderly & disabled feel special. I give parents the satisfaction that their stroller is clean and germ free. I make it easy for them by coming to them. Everyone is happy when their "wheels" look like new. I like that.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
One day we washed 12 wheelchairs in one afternoon. One gentleman in an electric wheelchair who was so thrilled that it was clean that he drove all around his assisted living home saying "Look at my new wheels!" Everyone was so excited by his enthusiasm. It made everybody's day. That was exciting.
