How can I determine my BMI and is blood test included?

Florida regulations only authorizes physicians to prescribe appetite suppressants to clients with a BMI of 30 or greater. To learn your BMI score go to the following link provided by the CDC at http://1.usa.gov/139OnVj Simply enter your height, weight to learn your score. Information about your blood work is an integral part of our weight loss program. The doctor will ask you for current blood work to help determine the right path of treatment for you. Blood work is typically drawn by your primary care physician or a lab. Blood work results less than 6 months old are acceptable. Lab work will contain information about your CBC platelets, CMP, TSH, and fasting lipid profile. If you do not have recent lab work, our doctor can write you a prescription once you have been seen by him. The cost of lab work may be additional, but it usually is a covered expense by your insurance.
