Q:

What is "placement" and "abutment"?

theresa h.  asked on  Oct 15, 2012

A:

There are three parts to completing an implant. First is placing an implant into a bone and the procedure is called "placement". Second is screwing an "abutment" into the implant. Third is cementing the implant crown onto the "abutment".

Q:

I just need crowns. Could this groupon apply to crowns only?

Sherri L.  asked on  Oct 12, 2012

A:

Thanks for the question! This Groupon is intended to be used for one implant with placement, abutment, and crown. I suggest calling the business at (781) 431-7295 (Wellesley Dental Associates) or (508) 357-8800 (Southboro Dental Partners) to see if your request can be accommodated on an individual basis.

Q:

Hi, I have a baby tooth that needs to be removed and have an implant put in it's place. Would the groupon cover the removal as well? I don't need a cleaning and can bring the current xrays from my dentist if that helps.

Tracy L.  asked on  Oct 8, 2012

A:

This Groupon would not covering removing an existing tooth. If you would like a price quote for the additional service, please contact the location of your choice. Thanks!

Q:

Would Dr. Lee be the one to actually do the implant procedures? Is bone grafting included in this price?

Susan M.  asked on  Oct 8, 2012

A:

The doctor that performs the procedure depends on which location you visit. You can view information about the staff at each location here.
Also, per the fine print of the deal the bone grafting is not included in the price.
