What You'll Get
Spending a day at a spa is a tranquil experience surpassed only by swimming in a pool filled with mashed potatoes or having a hand model slap you to sleep. Stay within the realm of reason with today’s Groupon to Wellness Spa on 5th Avenue. Choose between the following options:
- For $30, you get one 45-minute reflexology session (a $60 value).
- For $30, you get one 30-minute anti-aging facial (a $65 value).
Led by the keen insight of a registered nurse, Wellness Spa on 5th Avenue features myriad toxin-purging services to rejuvenate patrons from head to toe. During the 45-minute reflexology session, clients relax in zero-gravity chairs as an experienced reflexologist applies precise pressures and techniques to feet, increasing the flow of oxygen and blood throughout the body. After the treatment, patrons can expect lower levels of stress and tension, better circulation, and a restored hormonal balance that’s the envy of all high-school locker rooms.
Customers who opt for the anti-aging facial will let a gentle vacuum cleanse their facial pastures as it stimulates skin and underlying tissue. The 30-minute face-softening procedure diminishes the appearance of fine lines, dampens the visible effects of maturity and sun-damage, and reduces the dimensions of enlarged pores through an exfoliation process as safe and pleasing as an automobile airbag made out of marshmallows.

About Wellness Spa on 5th Avenue
The husband-and-wife team behind Wellness Spa on 5th Avenue knows firsthand how debilitating toxins can be. Bobbi Thompson attributes allergen sensitivities and weight challenges to her childhood mercury exposure from amalgam fillings and pesticides. Now a registered nurse and colon hydrotherapy practitioner, Thompson has dedicated her life to healing herself and others. Her spouse, Jerry Besing, can attest to her passion. After suffering a major health challenge in 2003, he became increasingly interested in detoxifying treatments, and took a wellness-coaching class at The School of Integrative Healing, directed by Thompson. He is now trained in services ranging from cellulite reduction to lymphatic drainage.
Each relaxing, impurity-targeting treatment takes place within a quaint, Victorian-style house. The crew also sells nontoxic pet products that keep dog, cats, and cherished pet rocks healthy without harming the environment.
