$799 for a Zerona Laser Body-Sculpting Package ($2,000 Value)
- Six Zerona laser body-sculpting treatments
- Three infrared-therapy sessions
Designed to spot treat problem areas, such as the abs, hips, back, and thighs, FDA-approved Zerona lasers shrink fat cells, resulting in lost inches. The noninvasive lasers penetrate down to the fat cells, where they disrupt the cells’ membranes. This causes the fat cells to release their fatty acids into the body and shrink. The body then flushes out the expelled contents via the lymphatic system or burns them for energy.
The 40-minute treatments require little to no downtime and should take place within 72 hours of one another for maximum results. Though some clients begin to notice results after only a few sessions, most require four to six. A complementary suite of three infrared treatments helps detoxify systems and boost lymph flow.

The team at WellSpa believes the body heals itself; they only facilitate the process with craniosacral therapy, ear candling, and therapeutic massages. This philosophy, and the staff’s nuanced understanding of the human body, earned the center a spot on the USCA’s Best of Minnetonka list for both 2010 and 2011 in the Wellness Programs category. The center's noninvasive services also encompass cold-laser treatments, which can help alleviate conditions such as arthritis, asthma, and a belief that lasers only come out of superheroes’ eyes. Spa owner and laser technician Bessie Lahoz-Arne oversees the treatments, and has done so in the Twin Cities since 2009.
