My husband and I have never been disappointed in the food and the service at the Big Ten. I usually order the broasted chicken which is very tender and yummy. My hubby is a burger guy. Their wine is pretty good too.

We ordered the mushroom and swiss burger and cole slaw and I had the onion rings. My husband raved about the cole slaw and the onion rings were perfect. We both enjoyed the burgers. We certainly will return.

About Welsch's Big Ten Tavern

In 1960, James Welsch's grandfather purchased a then 56-year-old tavern, breathing new life to an old establishment and kicking off what would be a longstanding staple in the Arden Hills community. Three Welsch generations later, the eatery—now more than a century old—still dishes up a menu of comfort food ranging from housemade pizzas to open-faced meatloaf sandwiches.
