On this Winter's menu, there is very little that is not spicy. It also seemed very hard to find a green vegetable. After a fair bit of conversation, the waitress told me that all the entrees came with the "seasonal, local vegetables" (a neat trick in Kingston in January!), not just the steaks as the menu suggests. Except for the entree I had selected. I had chosen the Ravioli because it didn't sound spicy, and to get the accompanying spinach. I wound up opening each ravioli and eating it open-face, like a tostada, because the pasta was the thickest, toughest mixture of flour and water I had ever encountered. But, happily, the filling was not spicy. Unlike the daily soup, creamed sweet red pepper, which sounded innocent but was not. I had to set it aside. Nonetheless, the food was otherwise quite tasty and attractively presented.

The food was excellent and the presentation was great, however, best of all was the service. Our waitress was super. She knew just when to come to the table, answered all of our questions regarding the food and the wine and her overall pleasant personality enhanced the evening for myself and my wife. I wish I could remember her name. I hope she is working the next time I go to West7Six

The food was excellent. The atmosphere was not the best for the quality of food. We would be most likely to go back in the summer when we could sit outside on the patio.
