Q:

I am 75 yrs. old. Am I too old to get braces? I have osteopenia and my dentist discourages me from getting braces. He said moving teeth at my age can cause bone loss that cannot recover. I truly want straighter teeth. Thank you, Myrna

A:

Please reach out to the dental spa directly at (914) 241-8200 to discuss.

Q:

hi, I am very interested but am wondering if it has to be paid in full or if you have a payment plan?

Brandi S.  asked on  Feb 19, 2013

A:

Yes, you would need to pay in full when you purchase your Groupon.

Q:

Is it mandatory that I pay for exams and x-rays at your office every 6 months, which means 3-4 times each during the orthodontics, I don't think I heard Invisalign being done in 6 or even 12 months? What is the additional cost of each procedure? You didn't mention cleanings; is that mandatory too? If so, what is your charge for that? What is the range of the mandatory additional cost of the retainers? Are you an orthodontic practice, or a general dentist who took a sponsored course w/ Invisalign people? Thank you

Jeffrey B.  asked on  Feb 8, 2013

A:

1. We take a Panorex and a Ceph when the treatment is started and it is included in the groupon price. If you have your own dentist you are not required to get cleanings in our office. We do expect that you will get regular checkups either with your own dentist or in our office. Our general charge for those without insurance is $99.00 for the initial cleaning and full exam. Everyone is different with regards to length of treatment some take 6 months to a year and some cases can go as long as two years. We do not charge extra for longer treatment. The cost of a vivera retainer is $795.00 and includes four upper and four lower retainers made by invisalign, We are a multiple speciality practice and have an orthodontist, a general dentist, an oral surgeon, and an endodontist. Both the orthodontist and the general dentist are elite providers and have had extensive training with many years of invisaligh education and patient care. Please let us know if we can help.

Hello Samantha, If your insurance pays for adult orthodontic treatment we will give you a receipt to submit so that they will reimburse you directly.
