West End Fitness
Take a dip in one of the largest privately owned pools in Manhattan: a 50-foot-long pool that reaches a depth of 7 feet at one end and features six lap-swimming lanes and lanes open for free swim at all times. Besides swimming lessons, aqua aerobics classes, or Sunday swims for families and kids, West End Fitness offers plenty of fitness opportunities on dry land. The center fills its 16,000-square-foot facility with group fitness classes, including yoga, cardio kickboxing, cycling, and Zumba. After an invigorating swim or workout with a personal trainer, guests can wind down at the club's whirlpool, sauna, or steam room.
Haven't been to a class yet but the schedule is good for someone with daytime of evening flexibility to attend a class. Good variety of classes, from yoga to spinning, aqua aerobics, pilates, and tai chi. I often want a class during the day so I can take a break to go, and this gym makes that option available.
