Sorry for the slow reply. Unfortunately we do not have karts that are operated solely by hand controls. We've looked at them, but it is a product of questionable quality, and we do not want to risk the customer experience or more importantly the safety of anyone at our facility with sub-standard go karts. For this reason we've replaced the majority of our fleet already this year and are looking at replacing the rest of the fleet as we move into the summer.
We do however still have double karts, and your grandson would be more than welcome to ride in one of those, so long as he has control of his upper body where he can maintain a upright seated position going around the corners for his own safety.
The Groupon offer is one race for two people, with a restriction of one per person, per day, therefore is two people came in with two Groupon vouchers, only one of them would be redeemable per day. We would however be happy to offer a discounted second race!
Race sessions are approximately 7.5 to 8 minutes long, and are measured by time, rather than the number of laps. Due to this fact we cannot say how many laps a person will go for. A fast driver may be able to do as many as 15 laps in eight minutes, a younger, less experienced, or slower driver may do only 5 or 6.
I hope this answers your questions, and if you have any further questions please feel free to ask! :D
