What You'll Get
Horsemanship was once a vital skill, much like the ability to avoid sailing off the end of the earth or the ability to discern which pizza trees were poisonous. Master an ancient art of survival with today’s Groupon for horse-riding lessons at WestWood Farms LLC. Choose between the following options:
- For $25, you get a one-hour horse-riding lesson (a $60 value).
- For $65, you get three one-hour horse-riding lessons (a $180 value).<p>
At WestWood Farms LLC’s private and secluded riding retreat, saddle-savvy instructors teach riders of all skill levels the ins and outs of English-style horse riding. Lessons begin with 10 minutes of pre-ride instruction, covering topics such as proper tack-up procedures, brushing technique, and conversation starters for between gallop lulls. During the next 40 minutes, instructors tailor riding lessons inside a state-of-the-art arena to each rider’s experience and comfort level. Participants end their sessions by learning basic horse care and dismount form before filling up the horse’s gas tank as a courtesy to the next rider.

About WestWood Farms LLC
At WestWood Farms, horses and ponies roam our rolling grass fields, in the quiet countryside of Oxford, Michigan. Our calm atmosphere permeates riding lessons, where trainers time their student's progress not by a watch, but by whether or not their goals for the day have been accomplished. Open to riders aged 5 and older, the farm's lessons focus on the English style of riding, with an emphasis on hunter-jumpers.
