What's Up Dog!
What's Up Dog! concentrates on the most all-American of foods: the hot dog. They've got the traditional handheld snack down so well, in fact, that they've exported their concept to Russia of all places. But before the founding-frankfurter-lovers established their first concession trailers and restaurants, they did their research, tasting the offerings at iconic hot doggeries from LA to Chicago to New York.
Those influences are reflected in their menu of gourmet dogs, which includes classic all-beef dogs, Polish kielbasa, Louisiana hot links, Santa Fe turkey sausage, and smoked bratwurst. They also craft signature specialties like the Southern dog—stuffed with creamy coleslaw and fresh chili—and a New York dog that features many a cart pusher's secret weapon: Sabrett Onions in Sauce, which the most dedicated hot-dog enthusiasts use as tooth paste. To complete meals, they dole out such sides as bacon cheese fries and deep-fried onion rings.
