- C$66 for a Rolling Thunder summer bobsleigh experience with a photo and certificate (C$89 value)
Participants board a bobsleigh for an iceless high-speed cruise down the official Whistler Olympic track with a professional pilot. The experience begins with a preliminary orientation that familiarizes riders with the equipment and the sport itself, as well as teaches riders about the history of the Whistler Sliding Centre as a 2010 Olympic Winter Games venue. Riders then hop inside a sleek bobsleigh with rubber wheels, with the pilot and other passengers. Once everyone is settled in, the vessel races down the track in a single run that reaches speeds up to 90 km/h. View the FAQ and other important information.
Whistler Sliding Centre
The Whistler Sliding Centre (WSC) is operated by Whistler Sport Legacies, a non-profit organization dedicated to grow sport at three venues: Whistler Olympic Park, the Whistler Sliding Centre, and the Whistler Athletes’ Centre. Each facility plays a unique role in inspiring sport excellence for the benefit of athletes, residents, and visitors. The WSC was the 2010 Olympic Winter Games venue for bobsleigh, skeleton, and luge competitions; and today, is a training and competition venue for sliding sport athletes of all levels.
