Do we have to pay extra for swim lessons, fitness classes? And does membership period of 6 months begin the date the groupon is validated?

Cyndy R. - Swim lessons are an additional fee. The membership period begins once you activate your Groupon at the YMCA.

Do you have to pay the joiner's fee I see in the brochure? ($125, etc.) for any of these memberships? The deal doesn't specify.
