They say an enemy is just a friend you haven't given a foot massage yet. Get to work on your resolution to spend more time with your enemies with today's Groupon to White River Paintball. For $10, you get open play admission, rental equipment (all-day air, semi-automatic paint marker and tank, goggles, loader pack), and 50 paintballs, a $30 value. Fulfill fantasies of expertly evading crossfire as you infiltrate enemy territory and annihilate the opposition faster than Reverend Johnson threatens to leave town after discovering that the sheriff has been murdered. Or just spatter strangers with neon splotches. White River Paintball is designed with both novices and expert players in mind, so you don't need years of mercenary training or a Blu-ray copy of Blazing Saddles to try it out.

Duck behind bunkers, belly-crawl through the jungle, or peak over sandy dunes on more than 125 acres of obstacle-laden fields and heart-pumping terrain. Located in Anderson, just 50 minutes northeast of Indianapolis, White River Paintball offers nine different fields. Play it up old school on the classic woodsball field or duck behind a real Sikorsky helicoper at the airstrip. Hide out in an abandoned building in Bedlam City or head to the fort to artfully reinterpret the Korean Conflict with a loaded paint weapon and a promise not to cry.

With open play, you can stay from open to close or leave when you're sufficiently splattered, and you can bring a group or come alone. Though you can't bring your own paintballs, (especially not the ones you made yourself out of strawberry milk and hollow chestnuts) you can purchase additional paint once you arrive ($9 for 100, $15 for 200, $25 for 500). Open play is offered Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., and on Fridays during warmer months.
