Q:

I took tetracycline when I was a sick child. And my teeth are a bit gray from that. Does this promise at least some results? I am not sure I could ever be white again.

Suzie L.  asked on  Mar 4, 2013

A:

Everyone's genetics are different. Some clients who have tetracyline staining get better results than others. Your teeth will probably never shine like a pearly white color, but you will definatley see some results. We treat many people with tetracycline staining and 9 out 10 customers are very happy when they leave because they have experienced some results. The good news is that its only $29. So you're not risking a lot right?

Q:

I have very sensitive teeth. Will this make them more sensitive ?

Celena M.  asked on  Mar 4, 2013

A:

Sensitivity becomes an issue with these long drawn out bleaching procedures such as White strips or take home trays. With our procedure, the gel only stays on your teeth 15-45 minutes so if there is any sensitivity, there is usually very minimal. We have administered well over 50,000 treatments since 2008. If you want "White Done Right" come see the leading experts in this field.

Q:

Do you have a minimum age requirement for the customer? I have a 13 year old. We've discussed this as being something that they would like to have done and I am willing to allow this. Before I purchase this groupon though I need to know that you would do this on a client who is 13.

Sarah B.  asked on  Mar 1, 2013

A:

We recommend waiting until the child is 14 but there are some cases where we have allowed the treatment for a 12 or 13 year old. If the enamel has formed on their teeth and they are a more mature 12 or 13 and all adult teeth are in, we have allowed the procedure. We recommend that you call their dentist just as a precaution and ask if he/she would be a candidate at this age for whitening. You don't have to tell them the whitening will be at our office or studio. You would be able to get a definate answer from them.

Q:

What is meant by organic and how does it differ from the other whitening systems? Is it actually considered "bleaching"?

C. S.  asked on  Feb 27, 2013

A:

Organic means - Natural teeth whitening gel formulated with organic, plant and mineral based ingredients. Our gels are made in USA, the glycerin we use is plant-derived and kosher, and Certificates of Origin and Material Safety and Data Sheets (MSDS) are available. We offer the strongest OTC formula Hydrogen peroxide gel for bleaching that is available and should only be used for in-office laser teeth whitening treatments, such as a company like ours.

Q:

does this treatment remove tarter build up?

JACQUELYN B.  asked on  Feb 26, 2013

A:

Our product does help remove stains but it is not an official "Cleaning" like you would receive from your dentist. Only your dentist can remove tarter build up. This is strictly a "Whitening Procedure".

Q:

Will one 20 min. session whiten up to 8 shades? Or is it multiple visits to get those results?

Stacey S.  asked on  Feb 26, 2013

A:

One 20 minute session can whiten your teeth up to 8 shades but it does depend upon everyone's personal genetics. You will see somewhere between 2-8 shades. The number of treatments or sessions needed will depend upon the porosity of your teeth and the degree to which they are stained. Some stains are deep in the dentin, or caused by antibiotics given to patients while their teeth were still forming. These types of stains can be more difficult to get out. For most clients however, whether due to drinking staining beverages such as coffee and wine, smoking cigarettes, or just simply due to age, they will be able to achieve dramatically whiter teeth with in a single visit!

Q:

I have some porcelain crowns along with natural teeth. How will the whitening gel affect the crowns?

Carolyn H.  asked on  Feb 26, 2013

A:

People forget that their teeth are “live” organisms and porous, so they absorb staining agents. The “fake” teeth are non-porous and do not stain. Anyone with partials, crowns or implants are perfect candidates for this procedure. Bleaching of the natural teeth remove stains that occur over time. The result is a better and more even match to the crowns, bonding or veneers.
