Q:

Do you have to present insurance in order to have this procedure done with or without the Groupon?

Shakira S.  asked on  Dec 5, 2012

A:

Because this is a cosmetic procedure, insurance will not pick up or pay the tab :( ..... However at this low Groupon price you can't go wrong.

Q:

I have a permanent retainer on the back of my bottom front teeth. Will that interfere with the treatment?

Antwan M.  asked on  Dec 5, 2012

A:

Great question. The retainer will not interfere at all. With our breakthrough technology of our "New Brush On Method", the gel never actually touches the back of your teeth! No worries!

Q:

How long does one treatment normally last?

Ken G.  asked on  Dec 5, 2012

A:

For most people the results are long lasting. Exposure to coffees, tea, tobacco, red wines and other stain-producing substances will eventually darken teeth over time. Age, genetics and general hygiene also have an effect on your treatments longevity. We suggest a maintenance pen for in between treatments to get maximum longevity out of your whitening treatment! It is not uncommon for the results to last (with the use of a maintenance pen) anywhere from 6 months to a year or longer!

Q:

I was in an accident when I was younger resulting in one of my front teeth being knocked out. My dentist at that time replaced my tooth with a "fake" one, will the fake tooth also be whitened or will it have to be replaced again? Thanks

Tarleashia M.  asked on  Dec 5, 2012

A:

Great question. People forget that their teeth are “live” organisms and porous, so they absorb staining agents. The “fake” teeth are non-porous and do not stain. Anyone with partials, crowns or implants are perfect candidates for this procedure. Bleaching of the natural teeth remove stains that occur over time. The result is a better and more even match to the crowns, bonding or veneers.

Q:

The Groupon is for a 15 minute treatment, but the info says teeth are whitened up to 8 shades in 20 minutes. Does this mean the Groupon deal is for a shorter whitening session than someone might normally have at a dentist? If so, how will this affect the expected results (i.e. how many shades whiter can teeth potentially get in a shorter session)?

Rae P.  asked on  Dec 4, 2012

A:

15 minutes is correct. Groupon has made a typo with the (up to 8 shades in 20 minutes). That should have said 15 minutes. Results will not be affected at all. We do offer longer sessions if needed or if someone wants to go even whiter. Thanks for the question.
