This was a good learning experience but I wouldn't take my kid back. She was very rough, yelled at my child a couple times. She has no patience for young children just learning how to ride. I could see being tough on an experienced older rider but not a young kid. Also talks to you like you're stupid. Very unprofessional. She needs to be more kind and friendly if she's going to teach young kids.

Great teacher, loved how she explains everything form how the horse anatomy is different from ours to why it's important to do something a certain way. She really tailors the lesson to your skill level and helps advance you. Enjoyed it so much I go every week now.

About Whitewind Farm

Horseback-riding instructor Nancy White began teaching nearly 40 years ago. More than 30 of those years have been spent at her own Whitewind Farm, where indoor and outdoor arenas and fenced paddocks sprawl across 10.5 acres, providing plenty of ground to train steeds and riders alike. Although Nancy specializes in English-style riding, which primes equestrians for jumping, she tailors her lessons to fit the student, so the content is as flexible as a gymnast left in the sun too long.
