I really wasn’t sure what to expect but this place is awesome. While it was freezing cold when I went (with my 11 and 9 year old kids), we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. The staff were super friendly and there were alot of very interesting animals. We had a blast and will definitely return.

About Two by Two Petting Zoo

A hidden gem located four miles south of Monroe, twenty-five miles from East Charlotte and nestled on 125 acres of rolling farm land is Two By Two Petting Zoo. Home to many rescued exotic animals as well as domestic animals such as camels, zebras, foxes, small felines, horses, cows, goats, sheep, and many small cuddly creatures. The tours are guided with knowledgeable guides and many opportunities to interact with the animals. Picnic tables are available.

There was a variety of animals to see here. We had a fun time. The only difficulty we had was there should be better signs telling which way certain animals were.
