For Bill Wickham, one of the most rewarding parts of owning Wickham Farms is hosting field trips, where he gets to teach kids that their food comes from farms instead of grocery stores. But he and his wife, Debbie, do much more than cultivating crops.

These pumpkin-growing veterans maintain a corn maze to entertain guests in fall, along with hayrides that go around the pumpkin patch and apple orchard, which they open to the public for picking. They raise goats and chickens that visitors can feed. They also sell cider, fresh donuts, sweets and simple meals inside the country style store. In addition to the traditional fall activities, the farm also features six batting cages, an 18-hole mini golf course, a kiddie train ride and a jumping pillow for a delightful mix of fun for all ages.
