We did the high desert ride and had a great time. The ride had beautiful scenery and our guide , Charlie , was very entertaining. Horses were easy going and comfortable. This wasn’t a cutsy, frilly, little ride, it was a ride in the desert and it was what we were looking for.

Super ethical ranch. The only trail ride available was 2 hrs away in Payson where it was 20 degrees cooler for the horses. We were matched with an appropriate horse and the pace made sure the least experienced riders were OK.
I enjoyed the whole experience.

Do not book with Groupon. The hours are incorrect. You must make a reservation with the stable in advance or you will not be able to go. I had to lose my ticket money because this wasn't clear on the listing as I had a plane to catch and they only had one ride available going out at noon. Tried to contact Groupon for a refund without success. Very disappointed.
