This rafting trip is about 2.5 hours on the Clark Fork River and what we consider more of a mellow section. We will meet at Wiley headquarters, where you will leave your vehicle, meet your guide, and receive a safety briefing. This section of the Alberton Gorge offers an abundance of gorgeous scenery and wildlife paired with many opportunities for swimming and games on the raft. An excellent choice if you’re looking for a family-friendly adventure near Missoula, as this trip is perfect for beginners, families, or groups looking to get on the river but a little timid of whitewater. This trip ends with a cold post-trip cooler full of drinks for all ages.
This is an all-day excursion! Plenty of whitewater for the adventurer. Your guide will navigate you through 4-6 notable class III-IV rapids with plenty of smaller rapids in between. Breathtaking geography and wildlife. Great swimming holes, rock jumping, and even a “hot spring” towards the end of the trip. Includes an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, because, yes, rafting is a workout.
