Equestrian experts teach 2–5 pupils in weekly lessons; weeklong camp welcomes youths for 5 hours daily to learn horsemanship & riding skills
Horsemanship was once a vital skill, much like the ability to avoid sailing off the end of the earth or discern which pizza trees were poisonous. Master an ancient art of survival with this Groupon.
Choose from the Following Options
$130 for four consecutive one-hour weekly small-group riding lessons (a $260 value)
$325 for five days of summer riding camp (a $650 value)
Choose from the following camp dates:
- June 18–22
- June 25–29
- July 9–13
- July 23–27
- August 13–17 August 20–24
During camps, days begin with morning lectures followed by grooming and tacking instruction. Next is an hourlong group riding lesson, after which riders untack their horses and return them to their stalls. Campers then participate in a horse-centric arts-and-crafts session and eat their lunches, then participate in nature activities and a horse-skills lesson while munching on provided snacks. Camps are held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
Four consecutive weekly classes teach a merry band of two to five saddle sitters aged 6 and older to build a partnership with their mounts as they learn to communicate, pick up essential riding techniques, and discover how to tack and care for the horses.
