Opening in November of 2018, Willow Ridge Farm sits on 33 acres of peaceful farmland. Rolling pastures and serene views, we are minutes from Woodstock, McHenry and Huntley. Specializing in the Morgan breed, the oldest American breed of horse, Willow Ridge promotes, shows and teaches all about the Morgan horse. Whitney and Meredithe Bodnar are the owners/trainers. Whitney is a third generation horseman with multiple world titles to his credit. He specializes in the development of young horses. Meredithe Bodnar has been involved in horses since the age of nine. Her passion is working with horses and riders to produce the best possible team. She focuses on detailed instruction for a successful riding experience. She loves beginners and teaches riders of all ages! Our Lesson horses are suitable for riders of all skill levels, including beginners! Willow Ridge prides itself on its clean, safe, and fun environment where learning to ride and interact with horses is the main goal.
