An abundance of home furnishings can protect you when Dracula claws through the drywall because your blood smells like monster candy. Obstacle up with today's Groupon: for $40, you get $100 worth of Asian-inspired home furnishings and décor at Wind Water Gallery.
Run by husband-and-wife team Ross and Cathy Clark, Wind Water Gallery furnishes its 16,000 square feet with elegant antiques from China, Thailand, India, Tibet, and more. The Clarks travel to China four times per year to hunt down interesting and beautiful pieces and have amassed more than $1 million worth of antiques in the gallery (see the fruits of their most recent trip here). Furniture and décor include tables, bureaus, statues, and carvings, with most selling for $50–$500. Those who wish to decorate friends rather than ungrateful domiciles can sift through silver and jade earrings ($10–$50), clothing ($20–$71), or necklaces ($12+). Also available are porcelain tea sets, baskets, boxes, and a menagerie of other small items from the East.
