Windsor Arms Hotel
The Windsor Arms Hotel was first built in 1927. Although the neo-Gothic structure now boasts modern amenities—state-of-the-art entertainment systems in each room, for instance—its decor still evokes 1920s French-style elegance. The Suites: The hotel boasts 28 suites, which offer amenities that range from Nespresso coffee makers to working baby grand pianos. Something you'll find in every room? Butter-soft, 320-thread-count Frette bed linens.
The Tea Room: In chic confines, diners sip teas from Russian Caravan and Sencha and sate their appetites with petits fours and dainty sandwiches of smoked salmon, cucumber, or small, square clouds.
The Spa: On its first floor, clients find a therapeutic salt-water pool. On the second, treatment rooms host facials and massages, including a scalp massage with argan oil.
The Living Room: Counterintuitively, this is the hotel restaurant, helmed by Chef Jean-Pierre Challet. Born in Lyon, France, Challet whips up creative interpretations of French dishes, such as steak tartare with potato gnocchi or vegan linguine with vegetables. The wine list has won Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for five years in a row.
