Q:

How many passengers does each flight accompany?

Kathy R.  asked on  Nov 24, 2013

A:

Our DC-3 holds 18 passengers and a flight crew of three. Seating is 4 across with an aisle in the center. We also have 2 couches in the plane, so once we arrive at altitude you are free to unbuckle and walk around the plane, sit in the couch, visit the cockpit and look out the windows..

Q:

I want to take my 80 year old Dad on this flight. He uses a motorized scooter for getting around or will need wheelchair access to get onto the plane. He is unable to climb stairs or a ladder, but would LOVE to go on this flight. At what altitude does the plane fly and its it a good overall view of the holiday lights from not too high above? What if it's a cloudy night, would the flight be rescheduled? This is a gift and I'd love it to be a really nee one for my Dad. Do you have handicapped access onto and off of the plane? Thank you!

Joan E.  asked on  Nov 24, 2013

A:

Our DC-3 uses a stair door that consists of 5 steps to enter the plane. Once inside the floor is angled at 11deg slant to walk to your seat. If your father is able to walk into the plane and up the stairs, we will do our best to accommodate him. We fly at an altitude of 1,000 above ground level. This allows a good view of the surroundings. Cloudy nights - Most nights the clouds are above 1,000 agl and we can fly. If they are not above our flight level or if it's raining, we will cancel and reschedule the flight.
