Q:

Does the limit of 3 mean a max of 3 people together in one visit, or a max of 3 groupons per visit (12 max people per visit)? Reason I ask is we may have a group of 5, so trying to figure out how this can be worked out. Would probably tee off as 2 and 3 of course. Thanks

A:

Good question. I think GroupOn worded it like that to say a limit of three deals per visit, so 12 people max. But, we are not strict about this. I think they have it worded like that for restaurants and other businesses where they would have issues accommodating everyone. We love GroupOn. In our case, the more the merrier. Even if you ended up having a bus load of people and everyone had GroupOn's we would not turn anyone away. We even allow fivesomes if it's not busy and as long as you guys try to keep up with the group in front of you and let faster groups play through.

Q:

Could I parlay the value of this groupon into one weekday non-resident golfer ($10) one rider, one club rental ($10) and one golf cart rental ($14)?

Nate H.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Lol. We will work with you if you redeem during the week and need an electric cart & rental clubs. That seems like a pretty similar deal. We'll allow it. Your negotiating skills scare me a little...it reminds of that old song, "16-in-the-clip, one-in-the-hole, Nate Dogg is about to make some bodies turn cold."

Q:

I don't get it - your web site lists your most expensive greens fees at $16 and $2 for a pull cart. Where's the 50+% savings?

Carol W.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Carol, sorry for the confusion. The deal options are for either two people to play 9-holes with pull carts, or a full foursome. Normally, two people @ $16, plus pull carts would be $36. The GroupOn is only $15. That’s where you would see more than 50% savings. For a full foursome it would normally be up to $72 (16x4, plus the $2 pull carts). The GroupOn for that deal option is only $28. Both are pretty good deals. Let us know if you have any other questions. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

Q:

Are both options are for any day, any time? Can we also use the replay option for an extra $5? Thanks

Daniel R.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Yes, both options are for any day, any time. They are for 9-holes, but if you want to play again, we have a $5 replay rate. One way to do it, if you are not in a rush....redeem your GroupOn mid-morning, around 10 or 11AM, play 9-holes, save your receipt, walk or very short drive to Park Ave for lunch and shopping, then come back in the afternoon to play the "back 9" (looks just like the front). Another way to do it would be to play back to back 9-holes, either way the replay rate is always $5, any day, even weekends & holidays.

Q:

What if I want to use a golf cart as opposed to the pull cart? What are my options

Charlie S.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

The advertised deal includes pull carts that are normally $2 each. Electric carts are only $7 per person. If you wanted to upgrade, you would just need to pay $5. And, for electric carts, don't forget to call and reserve one. We only have five of them because we are primarily a walking course. No need to call for a tee time because we are always first come first serve, but just let us know approximately what time you plan to come out if you need an electric golf cart.

Q:

On this deal... some places say cost is for 9-holes and some places it say the cost is for 18-holes. What does $28 buy?

Robert C.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

The deal is for 9-holes. We are just a 9-hole walking golf course. The $28 buys a full foursome for 9-holes and includes pull carts. That can be up to a $72 value. Sorry for any confusion. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
