* Language Arts and Math assessment for one student and includes a 45 minutes tutoring session

• Students build on their reading comprehension skills through reading stories. As they read with their tutor they expand their vocabulary, improve their fluency, and engage in comprehensive dialog.

• Students learn parts of speech through drawing, online activities, and sentence building.

• Students develop their writing skills and grammar through the practice of the writing process: brainstorming, freewriting draft, editing, revision, and final drafting.

• Student's math skills are challenged through fun speed drills at the beginning and end of every session

• Students engage in hands-on activity through the use of prompts and materials with their tutor to understand operations, computations, and other algorithms.

• Students discuss real life math problems to gain better understanding of operations and the "why" and "when" we use them.
