Choose Between Two Options

  • $14 for one-day museum admission for four (Up to $28 Value). Admissions are valid for children or adults; members and children less than a year old are admitted free, and children 1 or 2 years old are normally admitted for $4. The museum is recommended for children 10 and younger, and all admissions must be used on the same day.
  • $12 for admission for four to Sand in the City’s family-fun day on Saturday, September 8 (up to a $28 value) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crowds gather to marvel at 15-ton sand sculptures built on the previous day for competition. Admission also includes entry to Wonderscope Children’s Museum of Kansas City.<p>

Wonderscope’s 10 interactive exhibits aim to instill a lifelong fascination with learning in kids aged 10 and younger through hands-on play that mixes education with fun. Elements of art, science, and literature are on display throughout as kids explore themed environments such as TinkerSpace, an otherworldly sanctuary for building structures and contraptions. Raceways explores elements of physics, such as motion and combing your hair like Einstein, whereas H2Oh! moisturizes young minds with interactive lessons on the properties of water. During the course of a visit, guests launch golf balls, paint their faces, and serve up pretend pizzas as part of a family outing or one of Wonderscope’s hosted birthday parties.

Over at the Baby Nursery, kids can assume the role of doctor and learn how to take care of a newborn child.

They have water tables, so it is a good idea to bring an extra set of clothes.
