What You'll Get
Eating while laughing is a challenging task, much like braiding Patricia Arquette's hair while filing Patricia Arquette's nails. Marry merry-making and munching with today’s Groupon: for $14, you get an adult ticket to the Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show (a $27 value, tax included) at WonderWorks Orlando on International Drive. This Groupon is not valid on Thanksgiving weekend.
WonderWorks Orlando, a mental amusement park inside an 82-foot-high upside-down structure, is home to the Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show, which CityVoters voted the Best Dinner Show in 2007 and 2008. The hilarious and magically gifted Tony Brent takes the stage to entertain guests with dozens of impersonations, many giggleable comedic antics, and dramatic readings of the encyclopedia, while audience members fill their bellies with an unlimited barrage of fresh, hand-tossed pizza, salad, popcorn, and dessert. There is also beer, wine, and soda to usher food into the liver's inner digestive zone. Shows are held at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. nightly (a special guest replaces Tony one night a week). Call to make reservations.
Parking is available at the Pointe Orlando paid parking garage, but is not included with your Groupon.
The Fine Print

From the outside, Professor Wonder’s WonderWorks laboratory appears to have flipped completely on its head. When visitors enter the upside-down edifice, they must first pass through the psychedelic, spinning lights of the Inversion Tunnel, which turns the building right-side up for families to embark on a full day of entertaining, educational activities. More than 100 interactive exhibits spark excitement around natural phenomenon, including replica mercury capsules that visitors can climb into, a gallery of mind-bending illusions.
Some of WonderWorks Orlando’s hands-on displays allow guests to experience the aftershocks of the San Francisco earthquake of 1989, throw a strike against Derek Jeter, and lie down on a bed of 3,500 sharp nails without so much as a scratch. Additional activities include the Indoor Ropes Challenge Course, which exercises bodies and minds as challengers navigate three stories of swinging beams and suspension bridges, and the XD Theater 4D.
