When Greg adopts a dog, or rather when Greg finds himself adopted by a street-smart mutt named Sylvia (portrayed in this show by a human), it quickly becomes a bone of contention for Greg's wife Kate. In this romantic comedy by A.R. Gurney, the author of Love Letters, the long-married empty nesters have to dig their way out of an unexpected hole, in which Kate feels like she's losing Greg's affection to his new best friend. This imaginative take on a midlife crisis leads to lots of laughs and insightful thoughts on love, marriage, jealousy and canines. Sit, stay and enjoy all the fun of Sylvia at the Woodinville Repertory Theatre.
