Offering always-outdoor workouts taught by nationally certified fitness technicians, Workout on the Hill helps customers combat everyday-exercise boredom by assuring that no two sessions are ever the same. In any given class, workouts may incorporate weight training, endurance cardio, yoga movement, circuit training, cardio training, or core conditioning, and sessions are geared toward maintaining community—you'll work out with the same coach, participants, and oxygen atoms each week. Sign your body up for a series of Get Up & Go classes, a tiered arrangement of early-morning exercises ($160), or opt for the Personal Best class, which is geared toward each individual’s intensity preferences ($180). This deal can be used for any combination of classes, which are held at 6:15 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and at 8 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Workout on the Hill's owner Elaine Williams called upon mental and physical determination to overcome a back injury she sustained during her college basketball career. Today, her team of nationally certified trainers encourage men and women of all ages to muster similar conviction during friendly but rigorous group workouts and personal training sessions set against sweeping views of Bernal Heights. Each morning come rain, shine, or dust storm from the 1930s, coaches utilize the landscape of Holly Park to create extra challenges for their ever-shifting routines of core conditioning, endurance cardio, yoga poses, weight training, and agility drills.
