More Questions and Answers

Q:

I have kids 6, 8 & 9...would this interest them enough?

Donna B.  asked on  Apr 26, 2012

A:

Typically, children ages 6, 8 and 9 have a great time. There are rare exceptions when children are afraid of animals or refuse to touch the animals. Hopefully, your children will not be afraid. Another thing to consider is the duration of these tours, which are a minimum of two hours. While we strive to keep everyone entertained and engaged, short attention spans may get the better of young children. We hope this information helps!

Q:

It says I can buy up to 3 of these deals for myself. Can I use all 3 at the same time? For example, if I purchased 3 of the Discovery Adventure Tours for 4 people, could I bring 12 people and use all 3 of my groupons?

Kimberly A.  asked on  Apr 25, 2012

A:

The tour maximum for the Discovery Adventure Tour is 12 people, so you could bring 12 people and use all 3 of your Groupons.

If I buy one and my sister buys one, can we make our reservations at the same time?

Jenny U.  asked on  Apr 25, 2012

A:

Yes, as long as there is space available in the tour for both parties as our maximum tour number is 12 for the Discovery Adventure, Seafari and Wildlife Conservation Tours. Maximum for the EAT tour is 8 people.

Q:

If I got two tickets, would that work for two adults and a one year old child?

Dawn S.  asked on  Apr 24, 2012

A:

This would be fine for the behind the scenes experience.

Kristi D.  from  Groupon  replied on  Apr 24, 2012

A:

Admission must be paid for anyone age 1.5 and up, so if your one year old is under 18 months old, he/she would be free.

Q:

Is there a limit for number of people that can go on the Extreme Adventure Tour? I would like to have a group of five.

Sarah R.  asked on  Apr 24, 2012

A:

Hi Sarah! There is no limit but a reservation must be made. Af fifth person can attend the tour, but they would be extra.

Kristi D.  from  Groupon  replied on  Apr 24, 2012

A:

Sarah, the maximum number allowed for an Extreme Adventure Tour is 8, so having 5 people is OK. We are very strict about tour maximums.

Q:

Is the $45 for a behind-the-scenes experience for four, the World Aquarium light & lively tour? I will have 4 adults but also a 2 year old. What is the admission price the 2 year old for this tour?

Jennifer W.  asked on  Apr 24, 2012

A:

The tours on sale today are the Discovery Adventure Tour, Seafari Experience Adventure Tour, Wildlife Conservation and Sustainable Living Tour and the Extreme Adventure Tour. For a guided educational tour, you need to purchase a ticket for anyone age 1.5 and up. Please keep in mind that these tours are a minimum of two hours in duration.

Q:

Are you required to buy a City Museum admission to partake of this group on or can you simply do the aquarium portion alone? I realize that the group on does not include the City Museum admission.

Erik H.  asked on  Apr 24, 2012

A:

Since this is a guided educational tour, you can come in and do the Aquarium tour only. If you want to see City Museum, you will have to pay the admission to get in.

You can come to do the Aquarium tour only, but if you want to see City Museum, you will have to pay their admission.
