The New River Archery Club

A late-19th century stage coach stop converted to a resort in the early 20th, The New River Archery Club is a five-bedroom home that steeps guests in Old Western ambiance, punctuated by modern creature comforts. With its large pool and fish-stocked pond, the inn is a kind of oasis in the desert. Its proximity to the city-light-blocking Gavilan Peak also makes stargazing an enjoyable distraction while lounging poolside after a long day of archery lessons, sand volleyball games, and barbecuing.

Very patient with the students . Willing to ask if your are comfortable with the bow, safety gear, and touching you if he could. Willing to show his own skills. Willingness to help you through out your lesson as well to improve your stance and making the arrow go where you want to.

Cameron is a great instructor! I didn't know anything about archery when I started and after the first lesson felt like I knew a little and each lesson learned more and more.

Was a little hard to find, but worth the drive. My boys loved the hands on instruction and enjoyed all that time they had getting to practice. Our instructor was very nice and helpful. Will return again.
