Write For Recovery
At Write For Recovery, novelist, short-story author, and counselor Diane Sherry Case extols the therapeutic benefits of writing. The former creative-writing teacher for prisons and high schools shows her workshop students how to tap into fresh flashes of insight, helping them cope with such personal issues as divorce, trauma, or addiction. Her workshop helps both writers and nonwriters process their emotions and express themselves using creative-writing techniques. It also teaches participants how to rewrite their stories and gain fresh perspectives on them.
