What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
A REAL bootcamp runs outdoors…hands down! Ask any athlete or soldier if their respective field of activity is climate controlled? The answer is invariably a resounding no! However, X-Train CC, of course, does have a fallback fitness center to avoid unfavorable weather conditions if need be.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
As a certified strength and conditioning specialist, my goal is to cater to every facet of one’s over all fitness: strength, endurance, agility, speed/power, flexibility…. We achieve this with multiple bootcamp formats: i.e. Extreme camps, cardio camps, beginner camps, total-body workouts, etc.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Here at X-Train, we believe that one of the purposes of life is simply to help other human beings progress in one way or another. We want to help citizens create a legacy of health and wellness for future generations to thrive on in their respective communities. Our goal is your longevity!
What do you love most about your job?
People are all so diverse. Attempting to aid so many individuals in this great melting pot of a country we live in greatly increases my ability to be an effective trainer. Lifestyles vary and though I see the equation for results very clearly, administering to the masses is a challenge.
X-Train: A Fitness Community
When Barron Jackson craves beauty, he doesn't always seek out a colorful sunset or a dramatic thunderstorm. For him, one of the most stunning sights to behold is a lifestyle that's changed for the better. As a certified personal trainer, Barron knows lots of people who embody this type of beauty. Many are his clients, who he coaches in boot camps at X-Train: A Fitness Community. During his indoor and outdoor camps, exercisers of all levels chase their fitness goals through intense workouts that pair motivation with cardio challenges and functional strength training. In addition to sculpting muscles with kettlebells and TRX suspension straps, participants forge friendships as they cheer one another on toward personal bests. A certified trainer supervises each session, stressing proper technique as the group performs core-toning bodyweight exercises such as push-ups and calorie-torching plyometrics such as jumping jacks. To help clients achieve a healthy BMI, Barron's team also provides free measurements, weigh-ins, and body-fat assessments along with nutrition classes.
