The promised offer was initially not honored, and the Comcast agents I spoke to about this said that they had never heard of the offer. However, I must have sounded reasonably sane, as they gave me the benefit of the doubt and investigated the matter. It took about four weeks for them to come up with a resolution, but the agent I dealt with was very diligent, calling me periodically to informed me of the status of my inquiry, and called me today to inform me that they had resolved the matter to my satisfaction. So, they get five stars for being diligent. The only downside is that Comcast had obviously not informed its staff sufficiently about the existence of this offer.
