At Xtend Barre, students build lean, powerful bodies by following an unconventional routine that's a far cry from a boring jaunt on the treadmill. The workout regimen challenges the muscles and engages the mind by combining the graceful movements of ballet and the targeted muscle toning moves of Pilates, lengthening and stretching the body top to bottom. The 55-minute sessions can be tailored to suit pupils of any age, body type, or fitness level, and can even be tweaked to accommodate those with injuries or expectant mothers.
