Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
We keep clients motivated by offering excellent classes taught by well-trained, passionate instructors. Our classes are challenging, energetic, and effective. Each Xtend Barre class follows the Xtend Barre method and follows a specific sequence so that clients can gain an understanding of the method. However, the choreography changes from class to class, so clients never feel bored.
At Xtend Barre Portland, we offer a variety of class types. Our diverse schedule allows clients to challenge their bodies in different ways with each workout.
Our instructors encourage clients and offer modifications so that clients have an enjoyable workout. We value every client and love to highlight their accomplishments as they move through our program.
What's the most radical physical transformation you've seen a client make?
One of our loyal clients came to one of our classes, never having taken a Barre class, and reported having no core strength and minimal flexibility. After three months of committing to 4–5 classes per week, she lost several inches, gained strength and flexibility and she can power through any core routine. Most importantly, she is confident and comfortable with her body.
What is a typical session of your program or class like for a student?
A typical session includes an hour-long class taught by a certified instructor. Each class, regardless of type, includes an introduction to the class and a warm-up. The last few minutes of class include a cool down, stretch, and/or balance.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
What our clients love most about our studio is that, not only do we offer an amazing workout program, but it is a warm and welcoming environment. We have a great sense of community in our studio and our clients really appreciate that.
