What You'll Get
In addition to shooting targets, Airsoft guns are great for clearing out cobwebs and fluffing up stiff pillows. Discover all the benefits of plastic BBs with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of Airsoft equipment rental and game time at Xtreme Tactics.
Xtreme Tactics' Airsoft experts equip sharpshooters with packages that include full equipment rental and play time in their indoor facility. Slide three 15-round magazines into a Taurus semiautomatic pistol ($24.99), shoot plastic BBs out of an M15 ($29.99), or weigh down important receipts with the four 50-round mags that come with an MP5 package ($27.99). Before games start, players pull on a provided tactical vest and outfit their heads with goggles, a facemask, and helmets. Fully equipped sharpshooters then enter a sprawling labyrinth of walls and rooms where, for 45 minutes, Airsoft guns propel six-millimetre plastic balls toward targets as players shoot through windows and take cover behind drywall during tactical war games. Meanwhile, an optional package upgrade assists trigger fingers and trigger toes with a tactical light or laser, an extra magazine, red-dot sight, and rail-interface system ($10). Xtreme Tactics suggests players wear lightweight clothing with full coverage, comfortable footwear, and gloves, as long as fingers are not afraid of the dark. About Xtreme Tactics
Panels of drywall form an intricate labyrinth of walls and rooms inside Xtreme Tactics' 14,000-square-foot airsoft arena. Opposing teams softly tread through the warren, taking cover behind walls and shooting their foes through windows. Their weapons of choice are full-scale replicas of real firearms, whose plastic BBs help sideline adversaries and move teams closer to completing tactical, war-like scenarios. As real as the battles get, not all matches are grounded in reality—in the past, the arena has played host to games based on terrifying fantasies, such as the zombie apocalypse or Keebler elves going on strike. Helmets, masks, and tactical vests protect players during games, and when the final blow has been served, they can restock on guns and equipment from Xtreme Tactics' massive pro-shop.
