The chefs at Yahu Cajun know how to cook authentic, Louisiana-style crawfish. In fact, they're so confident in their abilities that they happily hand out free samples to any curious diner who pops his or her head into the restaurant, drawn in by the smell of garlic butter and boiled seafood. Once hooked, diners can customize pounds of their own seafood.
The process is easy: first select a flavor—such as original cajun—then pick a heat level, from mild to extremely spicy. Be careful, however. The restaurant gives no refunds if customers find the heat to be too much or the crawfish to be too juicy for this world. Chefs also use this preparation for snow crab and shrimp, so groups can order a few things to share. Other Cajun stars of the menu include seafood gumbo, alligator bites, and entrees such as crawfish ettoufee. And Yahu Cajun's chefs frequently try out new recipes, such as coconut spice crawfish.
